Meadowlark Update

On January 6, 2015, Meadowlark Midstream Company, LLC (a subsidiary of Summit Midstream Partners, LLC) learned of the rupture of a four inch produced water disposal pipeline near Williston, North Dakota. Some of the produced water in the pipeline was released from the rupture and entered the Blacktail Creek on the north side of the pipeline leak and reached the Little Muddy River. While no one was injured as a result of the rupture, Meadowlark takes the incident – and all of its environmental responsibilities – extremely seriously, and took action promptly and responsibly to minimize the impact to affected landowners, control any environmental impact, help ensure containment and clean up the affected area.

As part of Meadowlark's overall effort, it has met with North Dakota officials to communicate and coordinate detailed cleanup and remediation plans.

"Meadowlark has made significant progress in remediating the site, including the impacted waterways, and is transitioning now to implementing long term remediation plans in full cooperation with the North Dakota Department of Health"  -- Zak Covar, Vice President-Health, Safety, Environmental and Regulatory
